Our Mission

The Sea Island Republican Women's Club was established in 1970 by a federation of loyal and dedicated women of John's Island, South Carolina, for the purpose of educating the populace to the need for selecting officials that best suit the needs of the people.  The goal of this assemblage was to put the sea islands, John's and Wadmalaw, on the map as a determining factor for instructing and educating the voters in electing officials who would support the United State's Constitution and respect the flag of the United States.

Our Objectives: (Adapted from By-Laws of the National Federation of Republican Women)

1. To promote an informed public through political education and activity.

2. To increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation.

3. To facilitate cooperation among women's Republican Clubs.

4. To foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals and principles.

5. To work for the elections of the Republican Party's nominees.
